Rupert is British Columbia’s Trade & Investment Representative for Europe. Prior to taking on the role he served as a diplomat with the UK FCDO, including as British Consul General in Vancouver; Deputy Ambassador in Bahrain; Political Officer in Sweden; and Vice-Consul in Jordan. He has spoken on conference panels; been interviewed on TV and radio; and has MAs in Modern History and International Relations from the University of St Andrews, and in Creative Writing from UEA.
